PARC Leadership explores and contrasts examples of positive and not-so-positive leaders throughout history, leadership styles, and will spend time discussing cowardly leaders and what makes a cowardly leader, the difference between being in power and being a leader, and wrap up with a review of the four vital components — PARC — that make a successful leader in the park profession.

Learning Outcomes:
Participants will understand and recognize various types of leadership styles and learn their own respective style
Participants will understand the fundamental difference between leading and managing and will discuss the advantages of each
Participants will be introduced to the concept of "cowardly leadership" and recognize how your moral and ethical foundation affects your leadership style
