Natural resource professionals from Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation and Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission, Montgomery County Parks, will discuss their strategies for managing and conserving natural resources. Topics will include: major issues affecting natural resources and how to deal with them; top natural resource priorities; and methods of using good science to inform management decisions. The presentation will be followed by a lengthy interactive facilitated discussion.
