The Model City Initiative seeks to empower communities to harness the power of sport to address the most pressing challenges facing children and youth, thereby ensuring that all young people are able to reach their full potential. Model City New Orleans has resulted in nearly $2 million in investments, the creation of a 20-member coalition working together to improve outcomes in three key community-identified impact areas, and has allowed partners to reach an additional 26,000 children and youth.
