Those in parks and recreation are the heart of community and aim to include everyone in recreation. The challenge to find true inclusive play, programs and facilities is still a major issue 25 years after ADA. This session will be an open discussion outlining the current issues that are still common within our systems, and identify ways to involve government, businesses, non-profits and communities in cultivating inclusive, accessible programming within parks and recreation.
