The Community Shuttle Program was launched in 2013 as a pilot program to test one idea for how to engage and connect underserved audiences with their national parks. The program had many challenges and wonderful results. What started as an initial one-month pilot has evolved into a community partnership that has served hundreds of people and continues to expand and reach new audiences. The program emerged with an emphasis on recreation and wellness activities and family-oriented activities.

Learning Outcomes:
Upon completion of the session, the participant will be able to apply successful strategies for community driven programming.
Upon completion of the session, the participant will be able to design health and wellness program surveys and modify programs based on survey results.
Upon completion of the session, the participant will be able to develop a toolkit of health and wellness opportunities and activities for their community.
